oh man i was never good at that. i tried to play it recently and i was...well...still not good.
lol... i had 1, 2 + 3. i was OBSESSED with them as a child.
i wonder if it's a gender thing or am i making excuses? cause my brothers were always playin that game and winnin it too.

I love/loved the Mario series.. even Mario World and Yoshi's Island for Super NES. I wasn't the biggest fan of 2 though.
i think i liked 2 b/c of all the choices. you could be mario, luigi, toad, and princess toadstool. i'm a sucker for options. 2 was kinda hard to beat tho... and it wasn't traditional mario. i think it was patterned after a japanese game... as like a test... and they went ahead and released it. 3 was undoubtedly the best mario for nes tho.
Yeah, 3 was killer. The cool thing about 2 was the fact they could float. The Princess was the best floater. I think Luigi's feet moved fast? It's been so long lol. I never beat 2, but I have it on Mario All-stars for Super NES.. I might beat it just bc of this post.
i don't think me, or my cousins for that matter, have ever beat 2 either. yup... each character had something special. luigi jumped really high and his legs went fast. the princess could float/fly. toad could pick up/throw things really quickly. mario... i think he was just mario.
