I didn't get a chance to listen to all of the Muhsinah album, but the parts I heard were pretty damn good. It sucks having so many albums to review. Speaking of reviewing albums... I deleted the 2009 Sanford & Son album lol! I'll check out the other album you have up when I clear some space in my Downloads folder.
God knows I should be sleeping...
O.T. was one of the first albums I heard by Muhsinah then I dug back into her mixtapes etc to hear more. I love her voice and her production. She's very beautiful as well.
yes... the muhsinah abum is DOPE. i've been grooving to it since i got it. her voice and production are really exciting. i used to hear people say she was influenced a little too much by georgia ann... but i don't see it as much anymore. she's not as rough as georgia. she glides into her arrangements whereas georgia ann muldrow attacks them so to speak. i think muhsinah is definitely finding her own lane... + i like where she's headed. i just hope she gets her live game up.
Georgia Anne is a rough neck. May the funk be with her.
